You may have seen Cardiff featured in the TV programme Torchwood. The series is a spin off from the famous Doctor Who series and features Captain Jack Harkness (played by John Barrowman) who is the leader of a team called Torchwood who are fighting for the earth to protect it from alien invasions. The programme often shows the streets of Cardiff as well as famous Cardiff landmarks such as the Millennium Centre and Cardiff Bay. The programme has made a lot of people realise what an interesting city Cardiff is and how much it has to offer. It has highlighted some of its more interesting features. Once you get to the city you can even do a Torchwood walking tour which shows you the places featured in the programs.
